Abstraction of form was a study of elements, ideas and features that are associated with landmark architectural design. This project asked for the elements, ideas and features to be extracted from the nation gallery of australia - NGA - and abstract these details to crete a unique yet complimentry form. the design abstarcted the faciated detailing that is iconic to the nga. the the form’s faciated pieces pulled and curled onto itself resembling a shelling folding onto itself. this was to symbolise the ever chaniging yet highly approriated elements in art and design.
