The C.O.L.A began as a basic 3D modeling exercise to illustrate LOCI's vibrant and colourful landscape project for a public school. From there I began to develop and deliver a seamless canopy, that respects the existing structures. The new C.O.L.A gracefully canterlievers off the existing C.O.L.A above the main thoroughfare. Replicating the existing roofs pitch and halving its size, it develops the smooth transition and hierarchy from new and old. By being  pierced by the post protruding through, strengthening it visually and allowing it to become its own object.
